Da Yu, a 15-year-old boy, wanders aimlessly in the lonely city. He is socially awkward and considered a problem student. One day, facing the insults of his teacher, Da Yu explodes with violence and rushes away from his old life. He meets A Li and Lao Liao, small-time criminals who have a father and son relationship and welcome Da Yu into their unusual household. As Du Yu’s education as a budding thief progresses, his presence begins to offer both men a chance for salvation.
